Connectivity Overview

• Wi-Fi connections can be established either through a Wi-Fi capable router using the printer’s Ethernet interface or via the printer’s built-in Wi-Fi module.
• Bluetooth Classic connectivity involves pairing the devices through the iPad’s settings and initiating the connection by selecting the Bluetooth option within the app.
• Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) connections require entering the printer’s serial number into the designated field and activating the Bluetooth option to establish the link.

Main Features

• The app enables functional testing by sending FGL commands to print test tickets, custom marketing tickets, or monochrome BMP images.
• It supports conversion of color images in BMP, PNG, JPG, and PDF formats into monochrome BMP files prior to printing.
• Post-conversion, images are scaled to fill the ticket area or can be printed at actual size based on user settings.
• If a third-party driver communication application is installed on the network, Driver Print allows users to send print jobs via a driver interface directly to Boca printers on the network.
• The application permits sending of text strings and files, including FGL commands, to facilitate versatile printing tasks.
• Printer status can be retrieved to provide insights into the current operational state of the device.
• Additional controls include managing multi-path printer configurations, adjusting DPI resolution, setting orientation, and selecting stock sizes for printing.
